"The Montgomery County Health Department began working with CHES Solutions in 2008 after we received a HRSA Rural Health Outreach grant to provide access to primary medical and dental care for our Hispanic/migrant population in Montgomery and surrounding counties. As with most grants, evaluation is a critical component of the deliverables. Not only did we receive a quality evaluation but we forged a longstanding partnership with CHES which led to additional federal and state funding as well as state and national recognition for our community health worker programs and training. Our relationship with CHES and their understanding of the critical work we were doing in our area positioned Montgomery County to receive federal funding to begin a federally qualified health center in 2012, Sterling Health Care. Grant evaluation, grant writing, grant management and a host of other services is what makes this organization a valuable asset to any agency who seeks to expand their services in order to meet the needs of the populations you serve."
